Museum Receives Support from CommunityTop: The cool drizzle of a May morning didn't dampen the spirits of WAL*MART's Manager, Jim Simon, and Tara Acterberg, Community Service Manager, as they presented checks to the Branford Rivers Project ( represented by Bud Emmima and Maria Storm), the Branford Land Trust (received by Joan Merrick, President), and the Branford Electric Railway Association (accepted by Ernie Anderson, Vice-President.) This is the third year WAL*MART has supported combined projects in the Farm River Estuary area. Bottom: Continuing its tradition of supporting and displaying local scenes of interest, People's Bank commissioned two local photographers, Tricia Bohan and Richard Castiglione, to produce four portraits, one for each season along the Branford Electric Railway. At the dedication ceremony, Jim Keegan, Regional Vice President of People's Bank, and Doug Hallowell, Manager of the Branford branch, expressed their pride n sponsoring this display of Branford's longest National Historic District and major tourist attraction. Photographers Bohan and Castiglione donated their time and expertise to show the beauty of the museum area throughout the year. Thank you! |
